Teeth Whitening

There has been a sudden surge of interest in teeth whitening.  Here are some recommendations.

Many people merely rinse with 3% Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide, however here are two alternatives.

Option 1

Brush your teeth as you usually do. Rinse your mouth and toothbrush with water. Pour some 3% food grade hydrogen peroxide into a cup, glass or small bowl.  Then dip your toothbrush into the 3% hydrogen peroxide and brush again, paying particular attention to behind your teeth where plaque accumulates. Rinse with the remaining 3% hydrogen peroxide and spit out.  You can then choose to rinse again with water or not

Option 2

Make a paste.  

Pour some 3% food grade hydrogen peroxide into a cup, glass or small bowl. Add bicarbonate of soda (baking soda) to the liquid until you have a paste the same kind of thickness as you would find in tooth paste.  Brush your teeth as you usually do and rinse

Ear, nose, throat and lungs. Suggestions on how to use

One of the preferred method for administering Hydrogen Peroxide is through nebulising.  Nebulising treats the whole upper respiratory tract, and the lungs.  Importantly nebulising also delivers hydrogen peroxide into the bloodstream.

Utilising a Nasal / Throat spray can be very effective and easy to use. 

Daily Gargling and a Mouth Rinse is very effective and highly recommended

Dont forget the ears. You should be treating ear, nose and throat.

 

As interest in drinking small quantities has increased dramatically we have included an explanation below. However drinking hydrogen peroxide must be handled with extreme care. The correct dilutions are extremely important and it should be discussed with your medical Practitioner. It is reported to be primarily used to balance the gut, and it is not as effective at getting H2O2 into the blood stream as using a nebuliser.  However, a viral infection can end up in your stomach as a result of a post nasal drip.  It is often suggested that drinking small quantities can assist with this.  Its has also been recommended for food poisoning and upset stomachs.  

To disinfect rooms and re-oxygenate your body, use a humidifier where you spend most of your time and or next to your bed at night.

We make no medical claims or recommendations, other than to to reflect here a summary of the substantial documentation supporting H2O2 having being used to treat numerous conditions with these methods and at these dosages, including for COVID. 

Make your own Nasal / Throat Spray

For colds, flu, viruses, bacterial infections, sinusitis and allergies.  Use a nasal spray bottle and dilute 1 cc (ml) to 5cc (ml) of water. Spray 2 puffs into each nostril and/or to the back of the throat, three to four times a day. Maintenance & general wellness spray once or twice a day.  If this dilution is comfortable for you then try a dilution of 1 cc (ml) to 4 cc (ml).  Then try 1 to 3 and even up to 1 to 2.

 

Ear Drops

Dont forget you ears.  For colds, flu, bacterial infection, viruses, wax build up, ear-ache, sinusitis and tinnitus. Use a dropper to insert 2 to 3 drops in each ear and allow to bubble for 2- 5 min, 1 to 2 times per day.  Many use 3% in their ears but it is suggested to start with a dilution of 1 part 3% to 3 parts water and work up to what is comfortable for you.

 

Mouth Rinse and Gargle

Many use 3% as is to gargle and as mouthwash. As with the above, it is suggested to to start with a dilution of 1 part 3% to 3 parts water and work up to what is comfortable for you.

Humidifier

Use 250 ml 3% to 5 litres of water

Nebuliser

For colds, flu viruses, bacterial infections, sinusitis, allergies, bronchitis, emphysema, smokers cough, and all illnesses. Nebulising not only contacts, the nasal passages, sinuses, throat and the lungs but also enters the bloodstream where pathogens and toxins will be oxidised. This is our favoured method of treating all illnesses and to maintain excellent health. 

 

When you start using 3% H2O2, dilute by at least 1 cc (ml) to 5cc (ml) of water and nebulise for 5 to 10 min, 3 to 4 times per day while symptoms persist.

 

It has been suggested that if this dilution is comfortable for you then try a dilution of 1 cc (ml) to 4 cc (ml).  Then try 1 to 3 and even 1 to 1.

For all of the above we recommend using bottled water or a 0.9% saline solution.  Distilled water may be used but is not really necessary.  If you only have tap water, preferably use water that has been previously boiled and cooled.  Some people report that using saline reduces coughing during nebulising. You may purchase or make your own saline solution. See below...

Everyone has a different response to nebulising.  Find the dilution that you feel comfortable with. At anytime you experience hoarseness, tingling or or coughing, dilute further. 

When you are exposed to anyone who has a virus, nebulise after contact. For prevention nebulise morning and evening.  

Maintenance & general wellness, nebulise at least 3 times per week. 

Please consult you medical practitioner if you have any existing condition of lungs, ears, nose or throat prior to nebulising

Make your own saline solution

Homemade 0,9% saline solution requires the following

  • 4 cups of distilled or boiled water.

  • 2 teaspoons (tsp) of fine table salt.

  • an airtight storage container or bottle with a lid.

  • a mixing utensil.

To make a smaller batch, use 1 cup of water with one-half teaspoon (tsp) of salt.  Avoid using sea salt, as it contains additional minerals.

  • Wash hands thoroughly.

  • Sterilise the container and mixing utensil by spraying with H2O2 or immersing in boiling water.

  • Pour the water into the container.

  • Mix in the salt and stir until completely dissolved.

  • Let the mixture cool before use.

Store the saline solution in the airtight container. Bacteria can grow in homemade saline solution within 24 hours. Bacteria are less likely to grow when saline is chilled so where possible store the solution in the refrigerator.  However, if use your saline solution and make up your Nebulise preparation by diluting as suggested above for "Nebulise" and store that in the fridge, the H2O2 will prevent bacteria growth.  That ready made solution, stored correctly, can be used effectively for several weeks.

Oral consumption

As interest in oral consumption has grown significantly we have included information from many resources for information purposes only.

 

Should you consider drinking hydrogen peroxide we recommend you discuss this with your Medical Practitioner.

3% is the safest strength.  (Still dilute very carefully)

 

Many resources suggest that by its mere nature H2O2 is aerobic and it will only oxidise anaerobic bacteria.  Predominantly "good" bacteria is aerobic and "bad" bacteria is anaerobic.   As such H2O2 will only oxidise anaerobic bacteria.  Therefore drinking H2O2  is mainly used to balance the gut.  However many pathogens can colonise the gut from a post nasal drip during a viral infection. In these cases drinking H2O2 may oxidise viruses located in the gut.

(Aerobic bacteria refers to the group of microorganisms that grow in the presence of oxygen and thrive in an oxygenic environment. Anaerobic bacteria refers to the group of microorganisms that grow in the absence of oxygen and cannot survive in the presence of an oxygenic environment).

 

You should not use any type of hydrogen peroxide unless it is Food Grade.  The bottles generally available at grocery stores are not Food Grade and have chemical stabilisers and are for EXTERNAL USE ONLY. ( See our "Why Food Grade" Tab)

Unless you are experienced we would not advise using 35% as this concentration can be extremely dangerous if you make a mistake with dilutions.  If this is something you are considering  3% food grade is available.

 

The following are recommendations from various resources you can find in our "links" and "Free E Books" tabs

 

  • It is important that H202 be taken on an empty stomach. This is best accomplished by taking it either one-hour before meals or three-hours after meals.

  • All forms of vitamin C should be restricted one-hour prior to taking H2O2 to three hours after taking it.  This includes avoiding Multi Vitamins that contain Vitamin C, or ascorbic acid.  Fatty foods and fish oils should also be avoided during this period.  Any food or supplement with Iron in it should also be avoided during this period.

  • H2O2 has a bleach like taste and may be mixed with approximately 200 ml of water or Vegetable Juice, Fruit Juice (excluding Orange Juice), Milk, Aloe Vera or with water and a flavoured cordial).  

  • Some individuals taking H202 immediately before bedtime have a difficult time getting to sleep. This is probably due to a sense of alertness triggered by an increase of oxygen at the cellular level.

  • Some individuals may experience an upset stomach. If this occurs it is recommended that one does not stop the program, but rather remain at the current dosage level or reduce it to the previous level until the problem stops.  H2O2 is also extremely effective in eliminating parasites and worms from the intestinal tract.

  • During the program it's not uncommon to experience what is known as a healing crisis. As dead bacteria and toxins are released from your body it may temporarily exceed your capacity to eliminate them quickly enough.

  • In some individuals this overload may cause fatigue, diarrhoea, headaches, skin eruptions, cold or flu-like symptoms, and/or nausea.  It is recommended that one should not discontinue using the H2O2 to stop this cleansing.  By continuing the program, toxins will clear the body sooner and this healing crisis will pass rather quickly.  Typically at the dosages shown below the healing crisis may only be experienced in the second week.  Within the first couple of days you should experience and notice some positive changes in bowel movements and a clearing of the lungs.

 

Individuals who have had transplants or have medical devices fitted should not undertake any H202 program. H202 stimulates the immune system and could possibly cause a rejection of the device or organ.

These are reported Dosages to begin using 3% H2O2 and to cleanse the body. (which differ and are substantially lower than some of those recommended in ebooks.

Adult dosages

 

Days 1 to 7         

5 to 8 ml 1 x daily     

(2 to 3 x daily if you are treating an illness)     

 

People with lower body weights use the lower suggested dosages             

 

Thereafter a maintenance dose of 8 - 10 ml in the mornings, or at dosages and intervals that from your experience suits your lifestyle and the needs of your body.

Apply directly with cotton wool or a Q-tip to cuts, scrapes, foot fungus, athletes foot, cold sores.

OH! Garden

Healthy Plants:

20 ml of OH! to every 1 liter of water

Sick Plants:

30 - 40 ml of OH! to every 1 liter of water 

Mold and fungus:

Spray undiluted to the affected area

 

OH! Home (Spray)

Fruit & Veg: 

Spray liberally with OH to clean & remove dirt and pesticides. Allow to stand before rinsing with water. Or soak with 30 ml of OH to a sink of cold water for 15 min.

Cutting Boards, Sponges & cloths: 

Spray or soak as above
